HIT THE TRAILOur F5 Trail is built for on or off-road travels, there is no limit to where you can ride! Looking for adventure? This is your bike.
INTEGRATED LITHIUM BATTERY
An integrated 48V (650/840WH) lithium-ion battery in the down-tube offers both great looks and long range-riding. High capacity cells, the same ones used in the Tesla Model S, give you up-to 50+ miles of range. Charging time is about 6 hours for a full charge cycle.
500W MID-DRIVE MOTOR
The Bafang M600 mid-drive motor is among the most advanced and powerful mid-drive motors in its class. Though compact, it offers 500 Watts (120Nm) of smooth power for optimum hill climbing, range, and speed. Add the optional thumb throttle for additional speed control and smooth cruising.
4-Piston Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Magura MT5 4 piston hydraulic brakes offer outstanding braking force - perfect for the bike park or your home trail. Expect great stopping power and smooth lever action.
10-Speed Shimano Drivetrain
The 10 speed Shimano Deore drivetrain was chosen especially for the smooth pedaling options it offers. Whether you’re climbing hills or accelerating on the flats – the 11-36T cassette gear ratio allows the mid-drive motor to shine.
The FLX service team and bike technicians were outstanding in providing technical support to my local bike shop to repair a pinched derailleur cable. My local bike shop was very complementary of the prompt technical support they received from the FLX bike technicians when they needed assistance removing the motor and routing the cable housing. The FLX technician even made a short video to demonstrate some of the complex repair steps. Following the repair, the FLX support team reviewed the repair, determined it to be a manufacturing defect, and covered the cost of the repair (parts and labor).
Outstanding support and my F5 now rides better than ever!
I recently purchased two f5 with the 840wh battery about 1 month ago. one for me and my girlfriend. We just hit 100 miles on the bikes and love them we use them on fire roads in the mountains and mountain bike trails. The bike will climb some step hills which is what I really wanted out of the bike. A couple of upgrades we have done change out the seat ,add phone holder, water bottle and light kit for the bafang motor system with headlight horn tail light and indicators
I think this bike is spectacular
I love it. I am 73 and no longer want to jump or risk injury. The F5 has exceeded my expectations. I am riding mostly fire trails and single track and it performs very well (3 15+ mile trips with 1000 feet of elevation gain so far). My only thought is that the front fork is too stiff. Is there anything I can do to soften it and increase the travel? I really appreciate the range and not having to walk up steep inclines. It is nice to have the kickstand but occasionally my heel catches it.
