I've only had a chance to ride it twice. It's almost exactly what I expected. I've only been able to get it to 20 miles an hour. In the bike's defense I'm not a little guy I'm 6'4" and weigh about 230. I bought it for a commuter and I think it will work very well for that. Looking forward to see how the battery holds up. I have a 30 mile round trip commute that's not flat.
Don’t look at anything else. This one is the best. Have put over 70 miles on mine in less than a month. Love it! Thanks FLX team!!!!
Former Ironman triathlete here and leader of group cycling rides: a sloping top tube and 3 distinct sizes would solve more fitting problems, lower the cg, increase safety, and appeal to a wider audience. I got large and probably should've squeezed into a Medium so the top tube isn't uncomfortably close to my balls? I'm 5'9.5". Are these brakes HYRDRAULIC disc?!? Nope, not even close, ie no grabbing power. I thought they were and was disappointed at the brakes. Black color and general looks are outstanding! Carbon belt is the only way to go, imho, with best power transfer. But I think a better gear ratio of maybe 1-2 would be better if you lost your battery power on hilly terrain? Don't know why 3 to 1 was the design choice? The seat is rather nice, stiff and the right shape like I prefer. Wheel set is nice with the deep, aero dish.
fast fun only fell 3 times way fast .great on hills and bike trails. Im 65 great to ride again it does what i need
I just wanted to comment on the 3.5/4 star review by Mike/63.
Put more into it! I’ve successfully learned battery management. Your new BM-II CAN PUSH YOU at lv4 and 5 for ~ 35 miles is really nice. Version I’ll get maybe 10 miles max at loses settings.
So ride your major distances at no greater than 3. You’ll get 50 miles out it, I get about 30 miles.
Question? How are your spoke alignment off the nipples to the hub? Straight? Or crooked?
