What makes the Babymaker II different from the original Babymaker?

Babymaker II has a 40% larger battery than our original Babymaker. On top of this it sports a wider flat handlebar, a longer stem AND they are assembled in the USA! Babymaker II comes standard with premium components including a Gates carbon belt drive and Magura disc brakes.

When will my Babymaker II ship?

Our first bunch of Babymaker II e-bikes are already in production and shipping directly from the factory to our customers! It’s important to order early to ensure the earliest possible delivery of your preferred color.

Are you accepting International orders?

We are currently only accepting orders for customers in the contiguous USA (including Hawaii with an additional shipping charge) and Canada. At this time we are not able to ship to Alaska.

Can I remove the battery?

Yes, but it's not designed to be removed regularly - only for maintenance. Babymaker II is designed to be charged with the battery inside the frame.

What is the warranty on the Babymaker II?

We offer a standard 1 year warranty on any defective components and electronics. In addition, we have partnered with Mulberry to provide an extended warranty option.

Is it hard to assemble when it arrives at my house?

Your Babymaker II will arrive mostly assembled. The pedals, front tire, seat and handlebars need to be installed. Kickstand is pre-installed. Assembly instructions are provided HERE.

Not so sure? When in doubt we recommended contacting your local bike mechanic for help.

Unfortunately, damages resulting from improper assembly are not covered under warranty.

Can I finance the Babymaker II?

Yes, we offer financing through PayPal and can be accessed through our secure checkout!

Nice looking electric bike

I've only had a chance to ride it twice. It's almost exactly what I expected. I've only been able to get it to 20 miles an hour. In the bike's defense I'm not a little guy I'm 6'4" and weigh about 230. I bought it for a commuter and I think it will work very well for that. Looking forward to see how the battery holds up. I have a 30 mile round trip commute that's not flat.

The best stealth e bike

Don’t look at anything else. This one is the best. Have put over 70 miles on mine in less than a month. Love it! Thanks FLX team!!!!

A fun, light, fast bike.

Former Ironman triathlete here and leader of group cycling rides: a sloping top tube and 3 distinct sizes would solve more fitting problems, lower the cg, increase safety, and appeal to a wider audience. I got large and probably should've squeezed into a Medium so the top tube isn't uncomfortably close to my balls? I'm 5'9.5". Are these brakes HYRDRAULIC disc?!? Nope, not even close, ie no grabbing power. I thought they were and was disappointed at the brakes. Black color and general looks are outstanding! Carbon belt is the only way to go, imho, with best power transfer. But I think a better gear ratio of maybe 1-2 would be better if you lost your battery power on hilly terrain? Don't know why 3 to 1 was the design choice? The seat is rather nice, stiff and the right shape like I prefer. Wheel set is nice with the deep, aero dish.

Version 1

I just wanted to comment on the 3.5/4 star review by Mike/63.

Put more into it! I’ve successfully learned battery management. Your new BM-II CAN PUSH YOU at lv4 and 5 for ~ 35 miles is really nice. Version I’ll get maybe 10 miles max at loses settings.

So ride your major distances at no greater than 3. You’ll get 50 miles out it, I get about 30 miles.

Question? How are your spoke alignment off the nipples to the hub? Straight? Or crooked?
